Through the app, users can pre-load their most frequented pathways to enjoy streamlined access to doorways; use their phone as a badge even while it remains in a pocket or bag; and utilize voice commands on their smart phone or other connected device to conveniently unlock and open doors.

PassiveBolt, a provider of smart lock technology, has won the CES 2020 Innovation Award in the smart home category for its Shepherd Lock, a touch-enabled smart lock with enhanced security through sensors and Artificial Intelligence.  

ABLOY USA has reached an agreement with another key market provider to join its growing distributor network. Dallas-based IDN Global Inc., the International Distribution Network, now has two divisions who will provide ABLOY with a strong outlet for critical infrastructure and other security solutions throughout the United States.

ROFU Security International Corp., a privately held company based out of Seattle, has been acquired by the CDVI Group.
