The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), Vienna, Va., announced that Crime Alert Monitoring Center Inc., San Jose, Calif.,received the prestigious “CSAA Five Diamond Certification.”
The Security Week Gala hosted by the Security Industry Association and the InterPort Police, took place Nov. 2, 2011 at The Lighthouse in Chelsea Piers, New York City. Members of the security industry came together to honor two distinguished leaders.
The Women’s Security Council, a network of successful security professionals focused on promoting the advancement of women in the industry, unveiled its Women of the Year awards program. The inaugural initiative aims to recognize the top female professionals in the physical security industry in a variety of categories.

Mission 500, a non-profit initiative driven by the security professionals dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis, will recognize Pelco by Schneider Electric as the 2011 Mission 500 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award winner. Additionally, Barbara Holliday of Monitronics will receive the 2011 Mission 500 Humanitarian Award. The Awards will be presented at a cocktail reception on Thursday during ISC West.
