The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) announced that Louis T. Fiore, president of L.T. Fiore Inc., will assume the position of CSAA International interim executive vice president beginning October 1, 2014, following the retirement of Steve Doyle.
Protection 1 Security Solutions, Romeoville, Ill., announced its adoption of the Central Station Alarm Association’s (CSAA) Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP). The protocol was developed in 2011 by the Association of Public Communications Officials (APCO) and CSAA.

COPS Monitoring Vice President of Special Projects Maria Malice will join Morgan Hertel as co-chair of the CSAA Contract Monitoring Council. The co-chair position was previously held by COPS executive vice president Don Maden.
CSAA International, the voice for central station monitoring companies, announced that Steve Doyle, who has led the association for twenty-two years, will retire in October 2014.

The Monitronics Alarm Response Center is a charter member of ASAP, a collaborative effort with police departments to exchange dispatch information electronically and reduce dispatch time from 3 to 4 minutes to a matter of seconds.
For the sixth year in a row, the Central Station Alarm Association has awarded The Protection Bureau CSAA Diamond Certification.
