The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named five female biometrics leaders as recipients of the 2023 SIA Women in Biometrics Awards.

Christine and Andrew Lanning, proprietors of Hawaii-based Integrated Security Technologies, share workforce culture best practices. 

SIA created the Utilities Advisory Board to offer insight and education to security practitioners, members of the security industry and other stakeholders about emerging security trends, regulatory compliance issues, and recommended practices for protecting utility infrastructure.

SIA GovSummit 2022 will be held May 24-25 as an in-person conference at the National Association of Home Builders headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C.

The SIA GovSummit brings together government security professionals and private industry technologists for information sharing and education on security topics affecting federal, state and local agencies. 

The Security Industry Association (SIA) welcomed a new chair, presented five new and four returning members to the SIA Board of Directors and announced several new committee leaders at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership gathering.

ASSA ABLOY will be presented with the award at the 2022 SIA NPS Awards Ceremony, which will be held during ISC West.
