The 2023 Mel Mahler Award recipient is Mark McCall, Immix.

In her new role as TMA program and administrative coordinator, Monroe will be responsible for TMA’s Five Diamond, IQ and FirstNet designation programs.

TMA member Acadian Monitoring Services will host OPSTech in October at its training facility, as well as provide a guided tour of the company’s monitoring center.

Launched in 2011 as a public-private partnership, TMA’s ASAP service is designed to increase the accuracy and efficiency of calls for service from alarm monitoring centers to Emergency Communication Centers (ECCs).

The new co-chair will join Committee Co-Chair James Marcella, Axis Communications, in leading TMA’s state and local advocacy efforts and often partnering with the Alarm Industry Communications Committee (AICC) on legislative initiatives.

In collaboration with SDM, five awards are presented annually to recognize excellence demonstrated by monitoring centers and outstanding monitoring professionals.
