Companies to Integrate Physical, Logical and Mobile Access Control
Synercard Corp., Bioscrypt Inc. and Datastrip will develop an access card control solution for Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201 that will integrate physical, logical and mobile access control and also be easily migrated to other government and commercial access control systems.
FIPS 201 was developed to satisfy the requirements of Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD) 12, which is a policy for a common identification standard for federal employees and contractors. HSPD 12 is designed to establish a mandatory, government-wide standard for secure and reliable forms of identification issued by the federal government to its employees and contractors.
