Ryan Zatolokin, Axis Communications’ senior technologist for new projects - Americas, will be recognized as NCS4’s Technology Alliance Member of the Year during the 2021 National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition, set for Nov. 9-10 in Phoenix.

To celebrate 20 years in the security industry, LRG Inc. and select vendor partners gave away $20,000 in prize money to 36 winners from across the Central U.S. via a monthly drawing of entries by dealers and distributors utilizing products from leading manufacturers. 

The Monitoring Association (TMA) presented its 2021 Public Sector Award to David Holl, director of public safety, Lower Allen Township in Camp Hill, Pa.

Dunbar Security Solutions, a provider of integrated manned and electronic security solutions for commercial customers across the Mid-Atlantic region, has finalized a deal to acquire all assets of Integrity Systems Inc. to provide security system installation and service throughout the Washington, D.C., metro market.

CEDIA, the trade association for the home technology industry, has named Daryl Friedman as global president and CEO. He will assume the role on November 29, 2021.

Formerly known as the President’s Award, the Mel Mahler Award is presented at the discretion of the TMA president in recognition of outstanding contributions within their tenure.

The Stanley C. Lott Memorial Award, established in 1991 to honor its namesake, a dedicated leader and past president, recognizes exceptional leadership and support. 

He officially began his two-year term on Thurs., Oct. 14 at the conclusion of TMA’s 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. Hertel recently served a two-year term as vice president on the TMA Executive Committee leading up to his presidency. 

The free event, attended by almost 500 registrants, featured presentations by TMA members, industry thought leaders, and special guests, and provided the opportunity for attendees to take part in virtual education and networking events.
