 Intermedia announced today that Hosted PBX, its cloud-based voice service, will now be available as a new offering at ADI locations across the United States. Designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses, Intermedia’s Hosted PBX phone service will allow ADI dealers to sell a cloud-based phone service on a per-seat basis.  

Another benefit of the shift to IP is that more information can be communicated across the network than with analog systems. Managed PoE and UPS systems use this capability to send alerts about the system.

As part of the refurbishment, N.Y.-based integrator Total Recall Corp. had reached out to the U.S. Park Police, National Park Service (NPS) and the Department of Interior (DOI) with a state-of-the-art surveillance system proposal that would be designed, installed and maintained as a donation by the company.

Some question its reliability today, yet POTS lines leave your home or commercial locations, go out to the Internet and come back to a POTS line for the final mile, jumping from POTS to the Internet along the route.
