The Security Industry Association (SIA) welcomed a new chairman, announced its 2020 executive committee and added five new members to the SIA board of directors at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, held virtually today, March 17.

The Pennsylvania Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (PBFAA) has cancelled its 38th Annual Expo over fears surrounding the spread of coronavirus. 

In a March 12 email, PSA announced that it is “currently pursuing alternate dates” for PSA TEC 2020, which was originally scheduled for April 20-23 in Denver, Colo.

Milestone Systems, an open platform video management software (VMS) company, announced that Lars Thinggaard, president and chief executive officer, has decided to leave the company. 

SureView Systems, a global provider of commercial central station and command center response software, announced today the company will be splitting into two separate businesses to address these two distinct markets.
