It’s hard to believe that 2009 is in its waning days. What a year it’s been! From the crash of the economy to the crash of Tiger Woods’ Escalade, the year was full of unforgettable – as well as some very forgettable – moments.

 

With the holidays here, we here at SDM are already looking forward to 2010, our 40th anniversary of covering the security industry. Watch throughout the year for our continuing coverage of where the industry is going. Plus, we’ll take some looks back at where it’s been.

 

However, before we get there, it’s time to take a little bit of time away to recharge. Our editorial and sales offices will be closed beginning tomorrow, Dec. 24, and will remain closed through Friday, Jan. 1, 2010. We’ll be back full-speed on Monday, Jan. 4, although we’ll still have an eye on what’s going on over that time.
