IDIS America, the regional headquarters of the South Korea-based global video surveillance manufacturer, has announced a substantial donation of equipment to The Salvation Army of North Texas, and the completion of installation at the charitable endeavor’s newest facility in Lewisville, Texas. The donation was made in conjunction with KOTRA (the Korean Investment-Promotion Trade Agency) office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Sugarfina is a high-end, adult confections company which was founded in Beverly Hills, Calif. Sugarfina experienced explosive growth in 2018 and now has over 30 retail locations. For Sugarfina, finding one video surveillance solution that would allow them to view all of their locations using the same system became critical.

According to a recent report published by business intelligence provider IHS Markit, Genetec Inc., a technology provider of unified security, public safety, operations and business intelligence solutions, was named the world’s number one vendor of Video Management Systems (VMS).
