The 2024 SIA Women in Biometrics Awards honorees were selected from a large pool of accomplished candidates. The awards program will be presented May 21 at a special ceremony during SIA GovSummit in Washington, D.C.

Nominations for the award are due Friday, March 29, 2024. The awards will be presented at SIA GovSummit on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

The recipients of this year’s Women in Biometrics Awards will be honored at the 2022 SIA GovSummit, SIA’s annual government security conference.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named Marta García Gomar, chief technology officer for IDENTY Touchless ID, and Amy Turluck, director of the Biometrics Operations Directorate within the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), as the 2021 winners of the Women in Biometrics Awards.

Five distinguished biometrics and security leaders have been selected as the 2020 winners of the Women in Biometrics Awards. 

The recipients of this year’s Women in Biometrics Awards will be honored at the 2020 SIA GovSummit, held June 2-3 in Washington, D.C.
