SDM’s former Associate Editor Courtney Wolfe has been promoted to managing editor, effective immediately. SDM also welcomed Amanda Reed as its new staff editor on Sept. 1. 

Following the retirement of Laura Stepanek as SDM’s editor and associate publisher and Karyn Hodgson’s appointment to editor-in-chief, Maggie McFadden Shein re-joined the staff as managing editor on April 1.
