Canon U.S.A. has expanded its line of network cameras with 10 new models in a variety of resolutions and designs to serve the needs of a wide range of video security and surveillance applications. According a press release by Axis Communications, Lund, Sweden, and various news sources, including Reuters, Canon made a 23.6 billion-Swedish-crown ($2.83 billion) offer for network video surveillance leader Axis on Tuesday, February 10, 2015.
