A federal jury found Vivint sales representatives unlawfully deceived CPI customers into signing contracts by falsely claiming that Vivint had acquired CPI.
Vivint Smart Home Inc., Provo, Utah, has agreed to pay the United States $3.2 million to resolve allegations under the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989.
