The name change is said to be an important milestone for the development of the organization in North America.

The move will position Nice as one of the largest single-source manufacturers of smart home and building automation solutions in the North American market. 

Nice, a manufacturer of smart home, security, and home and building automation solutions, announced it has acquired Nortek Control from Melrose Industries. 

Nortek Control, manufacturer of security, access control, home automation and AI technologies in the residential and commercial markets, is being sold by Melrose Industries, the company in charge of its holdings, for $285 million.
