Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products Group, Irvine, Calif., a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., aims to help security professionals cost-effectively replace outdated analog CCTV cameras with IP network video by introducing the new IK-WD04A, a 720p HD mini-dome camera that combines superior value and performance.
Toshiba Corp., Tokyo, bolstered its smart-grid operations with the purchase of the Swiss electronic-metering company Landis+Gyr AG for $2.3 billion in cash and assumed debt.
The sale is pending regulatory approvals, the companies said in a statement, but should be completed in three months.
