Basler Vision Technologies, Ahrensburg, Germany, producer of digital cameras for industrial and security applications, announced that it appointed Jalmari Vaissi as the new director of sales for IP cameras in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). His primary goal is to further expand the business and establish Basler products in the EMEA region.

Basler Vision Technologies,Ahrensburg, Germany, announced that several of its new IP Camera models have been selected by Jerry’s Nugget Casino to secure its gaming facilities in Las Vegas. Jerry’s Nugget is a well-established Las Vegas casino with various gaming options, live stage entertainment, and dining facilities. In the course of a security technology update, Jerry’s Nugget is replacing 220 analog cameras with 200 Basler IP Cameras.
Basler Vision Technologies, Ahrensburg, Germany, added Renee Janda as a new regional sales manager for Basler IP Cameras. Renee is based in Katy, Texas, and is responsible for Basler’s IP Camera customers in the Midwestern United States, from Texas to Minnesota.
