Awardees will receive a $3,000 scholarship to use toward continuing education and professional development courses, SIA program offerings and/or other academic or education programs.
The award program, presented by SIA’s RISE community, recognizes 25 new and emerging leaders each year for their impact in advancing the security industry.
Applying for the SIA RISE Scholarship is open to SIA student members and employees of SIA member companies in North America who are part of the SIA RISE community.
In their new roles, they will deliver educational content and networking opportunities to young professional employees and rising stars at SIA member companies, college students and recent graduates interested in the global security industry.

SIA has named 18 recipients for the 2024 SIA RISE Scholarship, a program offered through SIA’s RISE community, which supports the education and career development goals of young industry talent and emerging leaders.
RISE Scholarship funds can be used to expand knowledge in the areas of business, HR, IT, marketing, sales, project management, security engineering and/or risk management.
Supported by the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST), the 2023 RISE Scholarship program will provided selected candidates with $3,000 awards.
