Zeus Fire & Security, a portfolio company of Baltimore-based Access Holdings, announced the acquisition of Fairview Heights, Ill.-based PASS Security for undisclosed terms.
PASS, which ranked No. 33 on the 2022 Top Systems Integrators Report, has provided enterprise-scale integrated security solutions across the greater Midwest for more than 50 years. PASS is a leading security integrator with expertise across commercial verticals, including critical infrastructure and education. The company supports more than 8,000 customers in the St. Louis and Metro East area, Central and Southern Illinois.
“PASS has built an incredible business based on their ability to deeply understand their customers’ needs and design custom solutions to meet those needs,” said Scott R. Elkins, CEO of Zeus Fire & Security. “The company has experienced tremendous growth and we look forward to accelerating that growth with the resources that Zeus brings to the table. We are excited about establishing a presence in St. Louis and PASS will be a key part of our foundation for expansion across the Midwest.”
Zeus Fire & Security was formed in 2021 as a platform business to partner with leading fire safety and security operators in premier markets. Zeus’ partnership with PASS Security is part of the company’s ongoing mission to partner with quality operators and expand best-in-class service offerings to customers across the country, according to the announcement.
Zeus Vice Chairman John Cannon lauded PASS President Brian Sullivan and Partner Steve Boente for having “assembled a great team” and welcomed them to the company.
“At Zeus, we’re always looking to partner with top operators to help support their vision,” Cannon said. “PASS has unique expertise in serving complex industries and we look forward to bringing the resources to the table that will help continue their impressive growth trajectory.”
PASS shareholders became equity holders in the Zeus platform as part of the transaction. The company will continue to operate under its own brand moving forward.
“We are looking forward to working closely with Zeus to further grow our presence in the Midwest with St. Louis as our central Hub,” Sullivan said. “Zeus is the right partner to help us grow PASS while preserving the culture we’ve built over the past five decades and continuing to offer the exceptional customer service that we’re known for.”
