SDM 2024 TSI Security Integrators’ Brands of Choice

Here are the vendors and distributors that earned the trust of the top 100 security integrators in 2023.

There is little doubt that the top 100 security integrators featured in the 2024 Top Systems Integrators Report experienced a banner year in 2023, with AI, cloud and video monitoring among the top solutions in demand from customers. But no one succeeds in a vacuum, and these companies need trusted vendors and distributors to help them with these large-scale and often very complex projects. So who did they trust to partner with?

As we do annually, SDM asked each of the 2024 Top Systems Integrator companies to name the top manufacturers and top distributors that earned their business in the previous year, based on volume purchased. The resulting lists, below, were the companies most often written in for the open-ended question.

Of the 100 companies ranked on the Top Systems Integrators Report, 85 named their top manufacturing partners, and 82 listed their top distributors. SDM combined all of their responses, and ranked the manufacturers and distributors by the number of mentions each received, with the manufacturer or distributor receiving the greatest number of mentions listed first, and so on. After the top 13 manufacturers and top six distributors, mentions were distributed fairly equally among a number of suppliers.
