NASCAR greats Randy LaJoie, a three-time NASCAR champion, and Corey LaJoie, NASCAR Nationwide Driver for Richard Petty Motorsports and NASCAR NEXT future star were onhand on Wednesday from 12–2 p.m. in the North Lobby. The father and son duo greeted fans and signed autographs, which were available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants tried out their driving skills using the NASCAR Simulator (North Lobby), sponsored by Axis, Video Insight, ASSA ABLOY, NUVICO, OnSSI, ADT, Napco and Kentix. The simulator is open during show hours, both Wednesday and Thursday, and the racer with the fastest time at the end of each day will win tickets to a live NASCAR event.
“This is the first time this program is ever being run at an ISC event,” shared Reed Expo event director, Sherida Sessa. “We are always looking for new programs to ensure our attendees have a great experience at the show. This program allows ISC East attendees to have a chance to win tickets to a live NASCAR event. To participate, attendees must pickup a Pitstop Pass and visit each sponsor exhibitor for a stamp. Once the pass is complete, they can race to win.”
