Bold Technologies, a provider of alarm monitoring and PSIM software, held its annual Bold Users Conference in August at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs. This year’s theme was “Learning Through Connection,” and focused on the training and networking elements.
Bold welcomed their largest attendance yet, along with a record percentage of first-time attendees, to this year’s event. Rod Coles, CEO of Bold Technologies, said, “Bold is embracing a customer-first focus, and this event is one of the most important ways we can have that direct, personal communication. We were pleased to have so many new faces, along with our loyal customers who attend every year.”
Coles continued, “The conference feedback has been so positive, which we always appreciate. We definitely want people to feel they’ve made a good investment of their money and time.”
One of the most anticipated events at this year’s Users Conference was the presentation of ManitouNEO, the newest version of Bold’s Manitou software product, for beta testing. Customers had the opportunity to become a beta test site for ManitouNEO, and offer feedback to prepare the release version. Bold’s demo room proved to be one of the most popular locations at the conference, as attendees took a closer look at ManitouNEO and other Bold products.
In addition, a variety of courses were offered for different focuses, including strategic business, operations, technical, and more. Tiffany Coles, Bold’s director of corporate outreach, thought this year’s courses offered something for every attendee: “We presented the popular courses that people want consistently available, but were also able to incorporate some new learning opportunities that were very well-received.”
As in past years, attendees had the opportunity to compete for prizes through a team competition, where attendees earned points for their team through attending classes, visiting sponsors and participating in a scavenger hunt throughout the conference grounds. For the third straight year, the Wolf team, led by Bold Fulfillment Specialist Nial MacDonald, took the championship.
Bold is already preparing for the 2017 Bold Users Conference, which will be held August 8-10, 2017, in Denver.
