This year at PSA TEC 2019, presented by PSA Security Network, Skip Burnham, A/E sales manager for Dortronics Systems Inc., will be presenting two informative sessions. These AIA and BICSI recognized courses will take place on March 12 and 13.
 
TEC 2019 will be held March 12-16, 2019 at the Sheraton Downtown in Denver, Colo. and is open to everyone in the physical security industry. In addition to these presentations, Dortronics is also exhibiting in booth 311.
 
“We are excited to educate PSA TEC attendees on how door interlocking systems are an important access control solution for a variety of industries and applications,” Burnham said. “We are thrilled to once again be a part of TSA’s educational programs.”
 
The course, “Door Interlocks: Applications and System Design,” will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m. and will review the various types of door interlocks, mantraps, sally ports and their applications. The BICSI and AIA recognized course will cover the various types of interlock controls and the accessories required for a fully functional system.
 
On Wednesday, March 13 at 9:15 a.m., Burnham will also present the course “Electronic Locking Devices for Access Control Systems” that will address how access control systems are used to limit entry into designated secure areas to certain personnel during predetermined time periods. This BICSI and AIA recognized course will review electrified door locking hardware and related components that interface with electronic access controllers to provide a complete security solution.
