ISC West is finally here, and there are so many great new technologies to check out, we’re highlighting a few of the booths we’re most excited to see. Read below for our second batch of recommendations, and click here for the first. 


Boon Edam Inc. (booth 8037) is demonstrating its integration technologies with the capacity to mitigate tailgating. A few of the solutions to be featured are the Tourlock 180+90, the Circlelock Solo, the Lifeline Speedlane Swing, the Lifeline Boost and BoonConnect. And once again this year, all show attendees will enter the exhibition through Boon Edam turnstiles, as the company is the official turnstile sponsor of the show.


DITEK (booth 6117) is exhibiting its comprehensive line of Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Network Protection and indoor/outdoor Surge Protection Devices. Some to be featured are the DTK-RMNETS series of modular network protection products, the DTK-MRJPOEX Outdoor Surge Protective Device for Ethernet Cabling, the DTK-MRJEXTS designed to be installed on the outputs of PoE Extender devices and the DTK-UPS600 and DTK-UPS800 to extend the lineup of comprehensive solutions to economically protect and power smaller systems.


SilverShield Safety & Information Systems (booth 4058) is demonstrating the capabilities of its visitor management and communication software. Originally developed for school campus applications, the software incorporates a fully integrated suite of modules including visitor management, lockdown initiation and much more.


Altronix (booth 11073) is showcasing its new additions to the Trove Access and Power Integration Series and the NetWay solutions. The new Trove models meet the industry’s growing demand for rack-mounted configurations that save space, which is desirable for use in data centers and MDF/IDF locations where real estate is at a premium. The new NetWay products on display include three new 8-port Midspans with more power, a Gigabit (1Gb) Ethernet repeater for extended cable runs and a versatile 5-port Ethernet switch that significantly reduces installation and equipment costs. 


Dortronics (booth 1037) is showcasing the company’s custom design and manufacturing capabilities, and enhancements to its popular 4800 Series Door Interlock Controller, which accommodates up to five doors, including doors with automatic openers. The unit’s 17 outputs control door locks (fail-safe or fail-secure), traffic lights and mirror door status with alarm outputs with a long list of features that includes adjustable timers for propped door time, panic release unlock time and unlock pause time for REX unlock time.


Maxxess Systems (booth 6065) is showcasing its unique portfolio of video, access control and communications platforms that provide users with the highest levels of system integration, management and incident response technology. Solutions on display include the U.S. public debut of Maxxess InSite Awareness and Response Coordination System, the enhanced eFusion Security Management Software and Maxxess’ MX+ Web Dashboard, the newly designed Ambit Event Management Communications Software and a new Multi-Form Panic Solution that provides the lowest cost of entry for proactive protection.


Morse Watchmans (booth 11109) is showcasing its AssetWatcher and KeyWatcher Touch key and asset management solutions that protect important keys and physical assets, resulting in reduced downtime, fewer losses and improved accountability. On display alongside AssetWatcher and KeyWatcher is Morse Watchmans’ latest introduction, KeyWatcher Fleet — the first key management platform designed from the ground up with Fleet Managers in mind. 


Sielox LLC (booth 13109) is demonstrating its portfolio of layered security systems, which address the complexity of providing the right combination of features and configurations to best accommodate specific applications and needs. Featured solutions include: the new release of Pinnacle v.10.4 Access Control Solution, Sielox CLASS Crisis Lockdown Alert Status System, AnyWare Browser-Based Access Control Platform and the company’s highly-touted 1700 Intelligent Controllers. 


Intelligent Security Systems (ISS) (booth 28073) is demonstrating the latest additions to the company’s portfolio of advanced analytics developed to complement the company’s recently enhanced SecurOS v.10 Video Management System (VMS). Showcased is ISS’ new SecurOS FaceX Facial Recognition Solution that significantly expands the ability to accurately recognize faces from different camera angles along with facial expressions under various lighting conditions. Also featured is the company’s new SecurOS Crossroad Traffic Violation Detection Solution that provides real-time detection of complex traffic violations.


Shot Tracer (booth 1092) is displaying its innovative portfolio of gunshot detection solutions, including the Shot Tracer Eagle Eyes Integrated Gunshot Sensor and Camera System that integrates the company’s patented gunshot sensor technology with wide area video capabilities and auto-push IP notifications, and the Shot Tracer Hawk Outdoor Gunshot Detection Sensor which extends the accuracy of the company’s gunshot detection technology to exterior locations. Also featured at ISC West are Shot Tracer’s renowned Eagle Indoor Gunshot Detection Sensor, Eagle Universal Alarm Panel and Gunshot Simulator Kit. Shot Tracer has also launched a new reseller recruitment program with an on-boarding proposition for qualified dealers at the show.


Viakoo (booth 33087) is releasing its Video Assurance Service (VAS) at ISC West. The solution is perfect for integrators looking to deliver managed services and build recurring monthy revenue (RMR). VAS is currently being offered by Viakoo Partners Stanley Security and PSA Security Network.
