Winners of the TMA Monitoring Center Excellence Awards, co-sponsored by SDM, will be announced during a virtual award ceremony April 17. 

SIA will honor Jim Black, senior director, security architect at Microsoft, and Ryan Kaltenbaugh, senior vice president for sales in North America at LenelS2, during ISC West. 

The 2023 Excellence in Product Innovation Awards are billed as recognizing manufacturers and products that have a profound impact on commercial systems integrators.

The scholarship honors Fiore’s enduring contribution to the alarm industry and is intended to promote careers in electronic communications.

To nominate a Project of the Year, complete and return the online nomination form so it arrives in SDM’s inbox no later than Friday, Jan. 13.

The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal-level veterans’ employment award that recognizes a company or organization’s commitment to veteran hiring, retention and professional development.

Schafer will receive the award on Nov. 16, during the 2022 SIA Honors Night reception.

These security industry professionals and students will use their awards for continuing education, repayment of student loan debt and professional development.

Supported by the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST), the 2023 RISE Scholarship program will provided selected candidates with $3,000 awards.

This award allows security industry representatives to recognize a local sheriff’s office for their partnership with the industry and their shared goals of serving and protecting the public.
