Owen Security Solutions, a security and life safety company that provides security systems for residential and commercial customers throughout northwest Georgia, acquired Davis Security Services retail alarm accounts, a family-run security services company headquartered in Woodstock, Ga.
Last week, Tyco Integrated Security (TycoIS) acquired Atlanta-based Carter Brothers’ Fire and Life Safety business for an undisclosed amount. Following the sale, Carter Brothers will transfer its commercial security business to one of its affiliates.
The 2012 Barnes Buchanan Conference opened yesterday on an upbeat note. The outlook for 2012 deal flow is viewed positively. David Stang, senior vice president of Bank of America noted that equity markets are improving; and in particular the leveraged loan market for RMR is improving and the volume of deals is on the rise. "Activity is robust," Stang commented.
