Thomas Connaughton
Thomas Connaughton has worked with Intertek for nearly 20 years as a product safety engineer, global director of three business lines and a consultant. Throughout his career he has created alternate third-party certification paths for the life safety and security industry; developed approval schemes outside standard norms; assisted in code, regulation and rule changes; and served on several industry committees and associations, including NEMA, the Home Safety Council and the Alarm Industry Communication Committee.
