Steve Walker is a contributing writer and Vice President of U.S. Monitoring Operations, Stanley Security, began his career with Honeywell International in aerospace product development before transitioning to their security monitoring business in 1998. Since that time, Steve has held leadership positions in both central station IT and operations and has followed the transition of the business from Honeywell to private equity, and again to Stanley Black & Decker in 2007.  He currently serves on the board of directors for The Monitoring Association and the Partnership for Priority Verified Alarm Response (PPVAR) and serves as co-chair of the TMA Surveillance and Video Verification Committee.
