It may look like magic, but transforming bare walls and empty space into an ergonomic, high-functioning control room takes serious logistics and design work.

This March, CSAA plans to officially change its name to The Monitoring Association, after members voted to change the name last June.

MONI Smart Security, a subsidiary of Ascent Capital Group Inc., announced a new Customer Bill of Rights to provide transparency into its communications commitment to customers, including consumer feedback mechanisms, contract policies and response times. 

This March, CSAA plans to officially change its name to The Monitoring Association. SDM recently spoke with CSAA’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Elizabeth Lasko, about what the change means and how the association arrived at this juncture.

Monitoring companies are not created equal. Each one has a unique approach, different focuses and specialties just like any other business.

CSAA just completed the second event in our three-year “reimagining” of our annual meeting, and it was another win for the members who attended and for the association itself. 

This year, Rapid Response Monitoring earned the top honor of Central Station of the Year from CSAA. The award was presented at ESX in Fort Worth, Texas, by Jeff Atkins and Morgan Hertel.

EMERgency24 offers solutions for schools, as well as other campus-type applications.

Affiliated Monitoring will be managing central station monitoring for customers of Red Hawk Fire & Security U.S., a provider of fire, life safety and security services.

MONI, a subsidiary of Ascent Capital Group Inc., won a Gold MarCom Award for outstanding achievement by creative professionals for its recent rebranding. MONI is the new name of Monitronics International.
